Baja Xpeditions is a brand of Xplore Baja. Review our participation terms and liability waiver conditions.
1. Legal Parent & Operator
Baja Xpeditions operates as a commercial marketing brand under Xplore Baja. All booking contracts, receipt acknowledgments, liability releases, and service agreements are legally executed under Xplore Baja.
2. Assumption of Risk in Off-Road Riding
UTV expeditions across the Baja peninsula involve remote wilderness, high-speed desert dry lakebeds, mountain passes, and unpaved terrain. Participation requires explicit acknowledgment of the inherent risks associated with off-road motorsports.
All guests must execute the formal Xplore Baja Liability Waiver prior to boarding any vehicle or starting the trail run. Digital or physical signatures are required in the “My Trip” portal.
3. Bring Your Own UTV Rules
Guests bringing their personal side-by-side vehicle (Can-Am or Polaris) must satisfy all mechanical and legal entry conditions:
- Mandatory Mexican Insurance: Valid Mexican tourist off-road liability coverage is strictly required at the border.
- Mechanical Condition: Vehicles must carry a spare drive belt, mounted spare wheel/tire, and pass pre-trip checks for 400+ trail miles.
4. Itinerary Changes & Cancellation
Trail routes and daily lodging stops remain subject to alteration based on weather, flash floods, or safety assessments made by the lead guide. Caravan safety is paramount.
